Hedge Planting in Tapolca

Around the region's volcanic butte hills it is common to hit a stony, rocky layer while digging the planting strip. When that happens we open a wider, deeper trench and carry out a full soil replacement with nutrient-rich planting medium – without it, the hedge would stall for years. We mulch to help retain moisture, and recommend drip irrigation on almost every Uplands planting.
