Hedge Drip Irrigation

In its first two years, the fate of a newly planted hedge hinges on watering – the great majority of plants that fail are lost to drought. A drip line laid along the row is the most economical and most reliable solution: it delivers water straight to the root zone, automatically.

The drip line runs along the base of the hedge, hidden under mulch – nothing evaporates, the foliage stays dry (fewer fungal diseases), and it uses half the water of sprinkler irrigation. With a programmable timer the system waters by itself at dawn, even while you are away on holiday. We connect it to an existing tap or garden supply, complete with a pressure reducer and filter, and split it into several zones if needed. Ordered together with hedge planting, installation comes at a discount – and the condition of our guarantee, regular watering, is met automatically. We also help with draining the system down in autumn and restarting it in spring.
