Garden Survey

Every good hedge starts with a thorough survey. During our free on-site garden survey we assess the conditions of your site and give you a tailored recommendation on the best plant, size and spacing for your hedge – together with an accurate, itemised quote.

During the survey we look at the soil type and condition, light conditions, available space and the surrounding planting. We measure the planned line and length of the hedge and agree on the desired height, how urgently you need screening, and your budget. Based on all this we recommend the species (cherry laurel, Leyland cypress or another evergreen), plant size and quantity, and the right irrigation solution. Within 24 hours of the visit you receive a written, itemised quote covering plants, materials and labour – with no hidden costs. The quote is completely non-binding.
